The USA as THE world superpower and the only one prepared and willing to actually help other peoples in order to promulgate freedom in the world is caught on the horns of a dilemma. Even when we elect to not do anything the world condemns us and when we do help, the world condemns us. To me it's fairly simple. If we do believe that our way of life is the best in the world and also care that our children and grandchildren will be able to enjoy this and we feel it best to allow others to enjoy our freedoms, then we must do certain things that call for national and self sacrifice. If we don't give a damn, then we can hide in our shell like turtles and eventually be a second rate power and eventually (decades or centuries?) be conquered.
There are important ancillary considerations. Unfortunately a large portion of our power exists in the form of nukes, the use of which most abhor. However, if push comes to shove and, as a big example, the use of a select one or two would go a long way toward making international diplomacy 'real'. Also, we must reconstruct our manufacturing base, revamp foreign trade policies and develop alternative fuels in order to be THE world economic power. If we do that then the debt will disappear. The places (Korea, Vietnam, Somalia, Iraq) where the US has failed to achieve its objectives using only military forces we have failed due to a lack of will power, not lack of military might or potential.

The only time the US wins wars is:
(a) It was actually under a real threat: WWI and WWII. However, in both cases the country had to be dragged kicking and screaming to do the right thing.
(b) The US thinks the target is an easy victory; the US never attacks anyone that can fight back. Iraq, Afghanistan, Beirut, Vietnam, Korea - when the US meets someone who fights back, they lose.
The only time the US tries to be interventionalist is when it's neither needed nor wanted. Where it is needed and wanted, the US runs and hides.
The US has *never* won a long war (over one year) that it started.

Your superiority complex superbly outweights your inferior intellect. You have a super negative attitude against the most superior country the world has ever known.
The super terrorists that you seem to like were living in superior elegance in Baghdad before super America came to the rescue and ousted the less than super tyrannical government of what was once the super nation of Mesopatamia. America's superior military defeated the less than super military of Iraq and is now in the midst of defeating the superbly ignorant terrorists of the world who are astoundingly flocking to Iraq to fight America's super soldiers.
The superior intellect of the average American is supposedly far more superior than the most superior minds of most other countries.
Superman has nothing on me!

I think SUPER LOSER!They really didn't need to throw bombs at Serbia.I mean,A LOT of Serbian people hate them because of that.I lost few members pf my family. And we got along before that pretty well.Maybe you thing I am faking right now,but throwing bombs to other countries is a big,big minus.America on the other side has many values and positive sides but it has many bad too.I am not American so i wont judge and this is just my opinion.

Blaming runway fashions for their issues? Oh yeah, we are only so HEARTLESS. perchance you will see that they do have issues the subsequent time they walk on the runway and a gust of wind blows all of them over. fashions ought to work out that being skinny as a stick isnt going to help them- their discrimination replaced into added upon them themselves. And in case you think of those with weight issues ought to cease ingesting, perchance you ought to take this suggestion too.

When your reason to fight isn't well thought out -- and this describes Iraq, as it describes Vietnam -- nothing you do will be seen as a win, and whatever you do will be seen as a defeat.
Lesson for the U.S. there.
