It's "goth". Being a goth is about acknowledging the darker side to life. It's not a fashion thing.I will admit that's what people have made it into, but originally it was about a rejection of society's morals and everything it considers "normal". Goths see these things as bland and meaningless and opt instead to enjoy the more visceral side of life; sex, drugs, death, and so forth. We acknowledge these things to be as important, if not more important than the mundane things which society idolizes. We're a very, "if it feels good, do it" kind of group. As a muslim, I don't think you fit the specifications to be a goth.
EDIT: Just wanted to add that goths have a variety of religious backgrounds but mainly we are atheists, agnostics, pagans , or satanists, we tend to think outside the box.

There are no religious connotations to being goth, but there are certain religious groups more inclined to it, such as Catholics and pagans. There is nothing wrong with being both Muslim and goth, in fact the Kubrawwiyah sufi order's process of volitional death contains some of the same concerns that goths do.
But being goth is more than wearing all black. Being goth has nothing to do with what clothes you wear or music you listen to, it is a way of thinking and seeing the world. The clothes that goths wear and the music that goths listen to is just a reflection of that mindset. Goths see that there is extreme pain and evil in the world, along with the good. Instead of condemning it or ignoring it, goths accept these things as a part of life and try and enjoy the good along with the bad, since they can't stop the bad from happening. They are not obsessed with death, they just accept it as an inevitability. They do not try and cause more pain in their (or anybody else's) lives, since there is plenty to start with. Goths tend to be kind, intelligent, non-violent, emotional, and artistic.

It's a trend, deriving it's name from a pagan Germanic tribe.

It is a fashion statement, not a religious statement.
