If you have a stable relationship humour by far outweighs good looks. But ..
But to get to know people is easier if you are good looking. The first impression is good and good looks are most times a sign of a healthy body. For instance having no differences between your left and right side is a good sign for a healthy breed.
In a relationship there is sometimes an element of the hope being admired for walking with a good looking male or female.

In my opinion looks are a dissatisfier: there has to be a minimum. More then that is okay, but not necessary. Good sense of humour is a satisfier: the more the better.

It depends if the person is going to make a brief appearance at a social gathering, or a long one.

It is true (however unfortunate) that people are judged on first impressions, so good looks, physical stance, demeanour, dress sense, etc are important when meeting someone for the first time.

However if those first impressions can't be sustained with intelligent or witty conversation, or pleasant manner, then the opinions of the audience will change very quickly!

I think I'd rather be a little ugly and make up for it by being well dressed and interesting, rather than have stunning good looks.

a sense of humour out ways good looks every time for me as long as the guy isnt grotesquely disfigured, at least he would be funny and intelligent, a beautiful man is all fair and well for a fumble but hey who wants to compete for mirror space?

i think a guy with a sense of humour will get more repeat business if he is funny rather than good looking.

a sense of humour outways good looks all day long! goodlooking aint that hot,well,not after first 5mins anyway. someone whos on your level,who can make you laugh and giggle is worth more than their weight in gold. they say laughter is the best medicine,god knows, in this day and age theres not that much to laugh about.....besides if i want to look at something gorgeous i can always sit in a mirror,cant i!

i would rather interact then just sit by , a strong personality out weighs the outside appearance by a landslide if the inside is in check the outside falls into place. knew someone that thought thier outside was more important, and let thier insides turn real ugly and sure that person was nice to look at but once they opened thier mouth...well lets just say they had mostly encountered one night stands because thats all that person had to offer. I honestly belive anything in life that you are looking for you have to find it in yourself, seeking unconditional love well you must first love urself unconditionally .

Depends entirely on the person. Unffortunately, people now a days are extremely shallow....I married my husband because he has a sense of humour, I don't always get it, but he tries.
