At 12 weeks, you should still be going outside with it to reinforce house training. When you get too cold, come inside and bring the dog with you!
Also at this age, your pup is teething and exploring. If you leave him outside alone, there's no telling what he could get into!

It depends if you keep him active he will stay warmer so maybe an hour or so. If your just putting him out in the yard (please don't do this with puppies they get into trouble) then only half an hour not more. You have to keep there temperature up he's little.huskies are used to living in snow but have to be acclimated to it, because I don't know what his coat looks like and how dense his undercoat is I would follow the guidelines above. Check with your vet or a dog breeder so that they can examine his coat and give you a better estimation. Hope this helps!!!

It's ok as long as he has a good dog house with cedar shavings in it. For temps below freezing you might want to bring him in the garage or house. I have a 2 year old lab that comes in the garage now when its below freezing but I accidental left him outside 1 time last year and it was 17 degrees when I got up, he was in his dog house with cedar shaving and he was just fine. But I won't do it again.

That a tuff question.I would make sure that he has a dog house or the garage to go in.For sure a bed and old blanket for him to roll up in, if he needs to.He is probably wearing a very good coat so he may not need a lot of blankets to keep warm, but shelter he will need.If he whines at the door and not want to go out, maybe it's too cold-----or he wants to stay and play with you....

A puppy that is that young, should never be left outside alone, without supervision, whether it's cold or not. He can get into things that may cause him harm or injure himself somehow. He should only be taken outside, supervised, long enough, for him to do his duty, then should be kept indoors. Once he gets older, then you can let him stay outside, but when it's that cold, always bring him indoors. That's too cold for any dog.

It is hard on a dog (or a human) to change back and forth between cold (outdoors) and overheated (indoors). A twelve week old would need some protection. well insulated doghouse, plenty of rags, rugs, or bedding of some kind, protected from the wind, maybe right next to the house. I would not think that that breed would need artificial heat.

while my mothers and dads have been given a Border Collie on the age of 11 weeks we did the comparable undertaking in aprox. the comparable section and she or he replaced into fantastic. She is now 13 years previous and lives interior continuously yet nevertheless loves going outdoors. Its ok, as long as its not too chilly out and she or he's happy. Do you have pals that would desire to verify on her once you may't come homestead for lunch? this could be optimum.

Dogs are pack animals. So many people get a dog and leave the dog outside alone in the back yard. It's unfair. We've taken them from their pack. We need to include them in ours. Especially a puppy.

Any amount of time outside unsupervised is NOT recommended for a puppy. The dog is too young to be left outside for anything other than potty and playtime.
