If you are a christian then you believe that all of mankind was wiped out when God flooded the earth. All except Noah because he built an ark and was saved. It also says that Noahs family repopulated the earth. Without evolution there would be no way that we could have so many races just by Noahs family alone. We would all be one skin color and there would be no reason for the vast number of languages.

Lets answer the question, and not preach.

IF you believe in the great flood, and there are many arguments for and against, then evolution would not be necessary. Let's go with the assumption the Flood DID happen. Noah's ark rests somewhere near the Mt. Ararat (which is actually up for debate - as there are 3 peaks in the same area). His family, which is large and has children & their spouses, go forth and resettle the land. The Family would spread throughout the known world - basically Middle East and Northern Africa, and then migrate from there.

You can explain the physical differences between the Human Species as a result of the Physical Environment of where they live. Some will tell you this is Evolution. But, if you go to a sunny warm climate, and tan. Is that Evolution? No, it's a reaction to an already existing physical issue. If you you grew a third arm to hold an umbrella or fan, that would be Evolution.

The Bible explains the language issue as a confounding of the tongue as a punishment of mans arrogance that they could reach God by just building a tower.

A linguist will explain Language as a local communication between similar peoples. Language, as we've learned, can spring out of anywhere. Ebonics is now considered a language. I don't understand it, and it is certainly foreign to me, but no evolution took place. If you consider most Languages are rooted in Germanic, Latin, Asian, there's not much to jump to the conclusion that every area has developed dialects & new forms of the same language. Why are Spanish & Portugese so similare, yet different. Why can people who Speak Spanish, Italian, or Portugese, easily learn to speak French. They're rooted in the same base, but are a regional dialect, again, not evolution.

Everytime I turn around today we are talking about the Tower of Babel. God changed their one language into many languages so they would scatter from the Tower of Babel. Eight people came off that Ark and Nimrod built that Tower so the great grandson of Noah built the Tower of Babel where God changed the language into languages. Read Genesis 10 and 11.

For all who believe in evolution, my question is why did God take 6 days to create when God could have done it in an instant? There is a reason for 6 days and could it be that God would renew it all in 6000 years? Evolution is a dead dog - let it lie.

I love how people try so hard to prove Christians and the Bible wrong. Ok I'm wrong now. Did that make you happy? Can you get a life or a job or something now? Thanks. BTW Race is based on where a person comes from. For example hotter climates, darker skin. And have you ever read about the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11)? That's where God dispersed everyone and changed the languages. Of course I'm wrong so that must be a myth too, huh?

No, not true. Adaption is different from evolution. In evolution, you evolve from something, which mean changing from something such as a rock or animal. In adaption, you adapt to your environment. So, since all of Noah's son's went different ways (some to Asia, some to Africa, and some to the Middle East), they would all adapt differently. In Africa, where the sun shines bright and hard, they would get darker skin, and over the years the skin would become darker and darker, and so on so forth with the rest. Its simply becoming used to the environment which your in. I hope that answers your question.

Seeing as some Christians believe the earth is only around 6000 years old and therefor the flood had to have occurred considerably less than 6000 years ago. I don't believe that would be time enough for that kind of evolution.

The Christian explanations will depend on what version the person who answers is following. There are Christians who believe evolutionary theory from the beginning and that days meant timescales far longer. Then there are the young earth creationists and I guess you have some of their interpretations already.

Animals actually do have pigmented skin. I don't know where Sho-Nuff gets the idea that they don't.

Evolution is unproven voodoo science, a mere guess.

God created life, it did not just magically appear one day. If life has to evolve from one form to another, then what did the very first life form evolve from? Remember, life can't evolve from non-life.

And for the different races, Noah's daughter-in-laws could have been a different race.

God is all powerful. There's nothing in the Bible that indicates that God didn't use evolution during the 6 "days" of creation, or after the flood. The cool thing about science is how it provides more and more proof for the concept of intelligent design. Science and Christianity are compatible.

its evolution instead of creation that us christians do not accept. species will always adapt to a changing environment. i dont think anyone disputes that. If the environment changes are too rapid then an evolving species may not be able to adapt quick enough and may become extinct eg the polar bear
