Yes, you are so right. Christians have no answers. They just fumble all over themselves. It's quite sad to watch really.

Although I think your mind is closed to this, I'll try to explain. Before the flood, the continents were joined. We did not have the oceans that we do today, so the animals could walk from place to place. God did cause the animals for the ark to migrate to the area so they could be loaded on the ark. The plants were not on the ark. After the flood waters receded, the plants started growing again. It is thought that the animals went into a sort of hibernation, since it was probably dark inside the ark, and probably didn't eat much. It is also possible that Noah took small or baby animals into the ark to save on space and food. Since the salt in the ocean is a result of evaporation, there wasn't salt vs. fresh water fish problems back then. The oceans become salty by the water evaporating and leaving the heavier salt behind. Over hundreds of years, this caused the ocean to be salty. The same thing doesn't happen to ponds and lakes because they are small enough and more of their capacity is changed by rain and runoff than the ocean has. If this doesn't make sense to you, then just fall back on the idea that "God did it".

You'll never believe anything that anyone else has to say about it, you've already made that quite clear. Have you read about it in the Bible, or did you just listen to whatever it is your friends told you?

Also if you look into science a lot of scientist do find it hard to deny that a flood of some sort took place. Also all of the life forms on earth weren't on the ark, the clean animals came by sevens and unclean by two's.

And what do plants need to survive? Is it water? Oh... well I guess that's how they're still here today. I'd imagine just as we keep our pets today, that's how Noah fed and kept all the animals on the ark. Which by the way if you've read the scriptures you know that it was quite large, it took over 100 years for Noah to build.

Anyway all this to say that "God did it."

Well friend, I am not sure of what you are wanting to know, you are telling us something instead of asking, But I will commit on the flood, First of all in noah's ark, they did not have cross or Hybreed aninamls, & 2nd, No fish were killed, Because they can live under water anyway, If you read the scriptures correctly, neighter was the plant life killed, We see that Noah sent out a raven that never came back, why, because ravens can eat on dead flesh, But the dove can not eat old dead flesh, & the 2nd time noah sent out the dove, it came back with a branch off of a Olive tree. God destroyed every living thing that live & crawled or walk on the earth(ground) & not in the sea. Now concerning the oceans, in noah time, we did not have large oceans as we know them today, They were seas, Most of the wter vapor was in the sky as a barrier around this earth, until God empty the heavens of most of it's water, as it will be one dy during the end of the millennium, where it says there shall be no more sae, which means, no more great oceans, There will still be some large seas, but not oceans.

dude..

when religious people started believing on divine words literally then they in fact give a big chance to non-believers to laugh on religion and on god.

no sensible man can ever believe on story of Noah ark literally.
what i believe that all is metaphor and should not taken literally.
also its not possible that great flood cover whole earth. it might be happened in some limited area.and Noah may had travel led on some ark , also it was not technically possible at that time to make a ark which can carry tons and tons of people.
i hope this will help you.

What's your question?

You know, a much simpler explanation is that both sides are right. Yes, there was a guy named Noah and there was a great flood that wiped out the region he lived in. And yes, it was not a world-wide flood. But according to Noah, it did cover the "whole earth"...at least the known world to him.

What's so difficult about this?

This type of logic isn't doing your point any good.

If you can believe that over several hundred thousand years people have evolved but your mind can't grasp the concept that -- places of origin and species evolved over time -- you are not as smart as you are trying to convince us that you are.

Hypothetically what if there were only 500 species of things, but over time there are now millions. Or is that too far fetched too?

Thanks for explaining it to us. God is so wonderful and amazing and spectacular!!! The greatest thing that He ever did, though was to send His Son, Jesus Christ to earth to die for your sins, and mine. He came to this earth to save mankind. The bible says we just have to believe in Him, and we will have eternal life!! Isn't that great!
