i got the promotion i would like to send the thank you letter to management letter for having faith in me

No - just do the best job that you possibly can and prove to everyone that they were right in giving you the promotion. Your actions speak louder than words. A letter would likely seem kind of like a bit of brown-nosing. It would probably come off kind of condescending anyway. Hopefully you did thank them when you were informed of your promotion. Go at your work cheerfully and with a great attitiude. Your superiors will take greater note of that than anything else. At least that has been my experience having lived it from both sides.

It's never wrong to send a thank you note. I think you should send one. I always do when I interview, and that's just what you did, right?

Of course as a thank you and what you can do to help the company further reach its goals. It makes you look mature and respectful

I personally would not. You might vocally thank your immediate superior.
