No, if you are going for punishment, it would be worse to wake up during your autopsy. You leave your body as soon as you die to go on to somewhere else.

Biblically and Islamically,the dead would only be passed through two process:The sinful to hell and the good to heaven.There's no verse either in the holy Quran and the bible that indicate the dead would rest till the last day.If you're not either of the two religion then apply your question on a foreteller.
