I always think of this quote by General Patton wen faced with a situation like this. He said..
Success is not how you fly. Success is how high you bounce once you have touched the bottom.

I don't know if it helps you to know that many of us have been in that situation, yet none of us can know your specific feelings. We are all individuals, so regardless what anyone says here, it is only YOU who can help YOU.
Having said that, I'll still remind you that you are qualified for this new job. The company or situation to which you are applying would be lucky to have you. Keep these thoughts in mind and find a way to relax. Release your fear over the interview in a conversation with a friend, including talking about the fear of never getting out of your bad situation. The actual interview will go fine once you get started, you're biggest headaches will be the wait before and after. Breathe deep and stay busy.
Remember that you need to make positive changes regardless of this one interview. Changing your near-depression might be helped by acing this interview, but it is not the only, nor even the most important, step, regardless how it seems. It can start by concentrating on convincing yourself this new job needs YOU, not the other way around.
Go Tell 'Em!

To start with, you need to feel better about your self and things will change if you have this attitude, then bad things will always come to you. I have been there but 2006 was different I told myself that this was my year and it was i found a better job which i love and i found true love within my own marriage a new car also came my way . All these things came to pass because i told myself they were. You have heard the saying your only as old as you feel this is the same you are only as good as you think you are if you tell yourself that today is the first day of the rest of my life and it is gonna be different then things will change you will get your dream job you will be paid what you are worth you will get to tell that boss of yours how you feel it will all come to be if you think it will just keep faith in yourself how can anyone have faith in you (example= your interviewer) if you didnt have faith in yourself i wish you the best of luck today, tomorrow and in the future but it will not come to pass if you dont believe it you are your only hope but i think that you can do this even though i do not know you i think you can do what ever your heart desires set your goals high and strive to achieve them that is the only thing that can help you put forth 100% effort in everything you do and things will turn out better than you think good luck and GOD bless you

You said yourself that this is your dream job and what you are really qualified for so go in there with that dream in the forefront of your mind. See yourself getting the job and the happiness you would feel. Make the decision that you are the one and only right person for this job and then go in there and convince them of it. Pull yourself together for just 1 hour....long enough to get through the interview and then once you've done it you will be surprised at how much better you feel about yourself. Stand up for yourself and live the best life you can. Only you have the ability to put forth your best effort. You can do it. Now, stand up tall and get what you want out of life and get out of your dead end job.Good luck!

Hello there!
Everyone gets nervous about a job interview. But don't let it get a grip over you. You don't want to be moving about in your chair during the interview. Just look at yourself in the mirror and
tell yourself "I CAN DO THIS!!" And keep telling yourself that!
You know that you are qualified, and your resume will do that talking for you! Now you just walk right on in there and shine! And smile! Positive attitude, positive thinking equals being successful! You can do this, you really can!!!
Good Luck!!! :)

Think positive! You're qualified for the job. You deserve it for all the time you've put in at the job you hate.
Whatever you do, don't act like you're desperate for the job.

Just keep telling yourself the "I can do this"--"I need to do this"--I am worth it"--"I am too good for my present job" and anything else that you can think of. lol--Keep that chin up--you are worth it. Good luck. And don't forget to smile lots. (although you may not feel like it)
