I think your wrong in assuming that this is a notion that many Muslims do not understand. I have though this for a long time now and there are many others. This should also go for everyone else who follows any Ideology.

Yes he does have some good ideas but unfortunately he wont be taken seriously because prior to telling us his good ideas he was very insulting. Thats his mistake.

No true faith can be restricted to the personal (Though if it is NOT personal it is hardly faith)
If you really believe something you want to share it....even if it is something as trivial as where you can get cut price toffeess. So it has to be so with a deep held faith.
What does need to be grasped is tghat violence is no defence of any belief. If it needs my violence to uphold it, it must be very flimsy.
