I'm not Muslim (so perhaps I really should not answer this question), but of the names for Allah that I know of, the ones that are most lovely to me are:
Ar-Rahim the Merciful
Al-Halim the Forbearing One
Al-Wadud the Loving
Ar-Ra'uf the Compassionate
Al-Wasi the All-Embracing

Allah is supposed to be the Christian God also, but some of my family at church don't believe that they're the same Father.

Recite all you wish, but I can tell you what Allah will answer ... if you want knowledge, go open a book, if you want honor, go be honorable in all that you do. Sorry, I don't know what du'aas is.

listen not to the infidels.
You can recite any name you want, you can ask Allah by his holiest name, the one that he has not revealed to us.
in sha' Allah, he will hear.
