No, it is not advisable, not while they are contagious. You could be spreading the disease. Grandparents are ok as long as they have had the virus. But NOT the store or any public place not until every single one has scabbed over completely. The department of health will not take kindly to you taking your child into public places with a communicable disease.

Infants, the elderly, or those with compromised immune systems who have not had the virus can get very sick from it. It's not fair or legal for you to take your child into the public while they are contagious. Chicken pox can lead to a very serious skin infection, it's not without complication especially in the very young or the very old. Pregnant women who have never been exposed to the virus and contract chicken pox can even miscarry. How would you feel if someone you exposed to the virus became seriously ill?

no, keep the kid inside the house. because if that kid goes out to a store, a little baby could get the chicken pox, and that would be very bad. be a wise parent, and do whats right.

They could go outside to play by themselves but I wouldn't bring them to any stores or around other people some adults have never had them and it could be very serious if they did get them now. As far as grandparents go if they have had them there isn't much to worry about.

As it's highly contagious, it'd be best not to in order to avoid getting others sick.
