You can not expect her to potty train in this short a time. It take consistency and time, she is still growing and so is her bladder. And yet you are already talking about getting rid of her, jeepers. Get some books on dog training, you've had some excellent advice on crate training here. But don't use puppy pads as that just teaches her to go in the house.

Make sure you clean up accidents promptly and with a product like natures miracle or get serious otherwise you are leaving enzemes she can smell behind and she will remark those areas.
Use the crate and if she doesn't go when you take her outside she doesn't get to play, back in the crate she goes. Reward her with praise when she goes in the proper place.

She's just a puppy, it's going to take some time. Puppies are like toddlers over the first ear or so.

Read up on dog training as well as crate training, your puppy can go to training classes soon as well.

Your puppy just discovered that the world outside is a very fun place. Too fun to waste on potty time! You just need a little time and patience. First, you should consider crate training. But to your immediate question it will take a little extra time and patience for a couple of days. Find a treat he really likes and grab a leash. He may pitch a fit about the leash if this is his first experience. Just set him on the ground where you want him to go and keep him from really playing too much. Pick a word you don't mind repeating 100 times (go potty, hurry up, etc.) Remember the key times that puppies need to go (every time they wake up, every time they eat, etc) Take him out with the leash, be patient and try to stay until he finishes complaining and actually goes to the bathroom. If not, take him in and crate him. As a rule, puppies don't like to go in their crate if they have a choice. Wait a short time and repeat outside. Keep saying your key word. When he does go outside be quick with the praise and treat. Then let him play a little. He may not put it together the first time or two, but it won't take more than a few "successes" and he will pick it up. After a few months you can wean him off of the food treat and just use praise. My dogs can be in the middle of an off leash romp and I can say their key word and they will stop and look for a place to go.

12 weeks? You cant honestly expect a 12 week old to have potty training down yet, do you? Most puppies arent fully potty trained until they are a year old! Your puppy simply needs more training to help her understand the concept of going outside. Even when she understands that concept, she wont be able to hold it very long until she's about a year old. My 8 month old Italian Greyhound understands she needs to go potty outside, but sometimes she simply cannot hold it as long as I make her and has an accident inside because her bladder isnt fully developed!

sounds like you need to incorporate the good old fashioned crate training with your puppy. Put her in the crate in the house, and take her outside regularly. Puppies eliminate within 10 minutes after a meal or a good drink. They eliminate after a good hard play. If, when you take her out of the crate and IMMEDIATELY outside, she DOES NOT go potty, put her back in the crate. If she DOES go potty, be sure and reward her ALOT and let her out of the crate for a while. When you take her outside, make sure she is on a leash so that you can SEE for yourself if she went potty. Come up with a word, and stick to the same word ALL THE TIME that is associated with "potty". When she goes outside, say "good girl, potty". She will catch on. Say "let's go potty" when you go outside ~ she will learn what that word means. Use it consistently. Don't change words on her. Give her a treat when she goes, and don't scold her when she goes in the house unless you SEE her do it. Dogs don't know what they have done wrong when you scold them AFTER the fact. You MUST catch them in the act of the undesirable behavior. When you take her outside ~ take her to the same spot each time. She will smell that spot and know that is where she goes potty (or whatever word you think of).

Good luck!

If she does not go outside you need to put her back in her crate for a little bit then take her outside again until she goes outside. Then praise her going outdide. then play with her a lilttle bit.

Why don't you get some puppy pads so that you can potty train her inside? You can get the puppy pads at Petco. All you have to do is buy the pads put them on the floor where she usually pees or poops and get her to pee and poop on it. LET ME KNOW IF THIS WORKED FOR YOU!!
