I would like to catch a ride on the Qinghai-Tibet Railway by the end of March. Three question come await for answer, please.
1) Is it a good choice in terms of climate and seasons?
2) On arrival at Lhasa Airport, how could I get to the terminal? Or is there any better landing locations?
3) Where could I get the best bargain?

Possibly unrelated, but helpful: I've been planning the same thing... and I discovered that you must have 2 things in addition to your Chinese visa: a) A Tibetan travel permit and b) a guide while you're in Tibet. Other information is available at this site too.
