It is quite normal for a woman to bleed the 1st time she has full penetrative intercourse. However NOT all women bleed on the first time- there are many reasons for this.

I get a bad vibe from this question. Why are you asking? Are you concerned that she in fact didnt bleed and you think that your honeymoon wasnt her first time by any chance?
Not all women bleed the first time they have sex, I didnt. Its the breaking of the hymen that causes bleeding, but it can be broken by many things other than sex. Dont rely on whether or not she is bleeding to guage if she is truly a virgin.

Its normal for this to happen when a virgin has intercourse for the first time. She bleeds because her hymen is being penetrated.However, even though it is her first some women do not bleed and this is normal too. If the woman has led very active life style eg. plays sports or horse back riding she may have broken her hymen doing these activities.

If it is her first time, then yes, it is normal for there to be some bleeding. However, if the bleeding continues whenever there is intercourse, then it could be a sign of a bigger problem and she may want to go see a gynocologist.
