My labret piercing thats on my right side right benaeath my lip seems to continue to get swelled up i've been rinsing with listerine and putting a&d ointment like i was told what should i do? will getten alonger bar actually help or should i just take it off? i did it 3days ago its hurting and the piercing is sinking in, help someone plz..

you may have an infection, salt water will be more effective that listerine but you may need some antibiotics.
the swelling you can probably reduce with some ice to give you more comfort with the bar remaining in.
if it starts to get any pus in it or gets any worse go back and have it taken out so you dont end up with a serious problem (big scar/blood poisoning etc)

If it is calf discomfort going into your ankle and foot i might heavily advise you to bypass see your healthcare expert asap. i'm no longer expert, yet it relatively is an illustration of a blood clot. it is plenty greater efficient to be secure than sorry...fantastically while you're in that plenty discomfort.

try warm salt water.You need to leave it in or it will close right away.Its just swollen cuz you pierced it,thats how my ear was when I pierced it.you just have to stick it out cuz in a few days it will go down.
