All of our cats have always headed somewhere they feel safe when they're sick. This usually means under beds unfortunatly.

Cats seek comfort and safty when they're sick... and most cats feel safer inside where they know there's no other animals.

Either that or they think it's funny.

Actually, my cat was car sick once, and he cried to get out of his cage to get sick in his litterbox. But in the house he gets sick anywhere, because it is not their instinct to hide that, as with poo, which is a normal every day procedure.

because being sick doesnt attract a mate in the cat world.

My cats always use the litterboxes appropriately. When it comes to throwing up all bets are off!
