We girls usually go for guys who have a sense of humour without being too cheesy, so go practise some witty jokes.And also an overall nice guy tend to catch our attention, vain and selfish guys don't have a place in our books. So to get a girlfriend be witty and nice.

have you considered these measures: Checking your facial expression, hygiene and body language? If you have done those, i don't see why girls will not flip over you. Maybe your height or weight could be the thing that stands between you and the girl you admire, love even! I know it myself having been in 5 failed relationships!
See whether you can get past her family as well in order to date her!
