Be polite and introduce yourself...ask her something about herself, so you initiate an opportunity for her introduce herself to you. Be patient...Let her talk about herself (this may take awhile)until she ask something about you. Oh! really listen to her...don't think about what you plan to say...just listen to what she is saying. During the conversation, you may notice a chemistry beginning to blend...the awkwardness begins to drop and comfort level starts to elevated. A real good sign if you can make a woman laugh by just being yourself. Sorry but that's the best dad lesson I could give on such short notice.
