I'm an 18-year-old Asian male in college. I'm 5'11 and weigh 180. Should I gain more weight or lose weight? I am actually in the process of bulking up, and I want to add about 20 pounds of muscle. What should I do about my face? I have a somewhat oval face, typical slanted, small Asian eyes, and an ugly nose that reveals my nostrils to a certain degree. I know girls, regardless of ethnicity, don't find my facial features that attractive, but I wish I could do something about it. Ppl say it's the inside, not the outside, that matters, but looks seem to matter a lot. Girls, please give me some advice!

Yes, looks do matter this day and age. Well, you can't do much about your face. Well, you born Asian..don't try to deasian your face. People have certain preferences and girls do like Asian men too. I am with one by the way! Asian eyes are very exotic to me. You may not find yourself particularly attractive, but other people probably do. I would work on self-esteem issues more. Maybe join some clubs, groups, sports. Then you know can definitely find a girl with things in common and may even snag a chick. If you want to gain weight try protein shakes, creatine, and lots of weightlifting. Also, do some internet research!

You are what God made you. If you don't love yourself, don't expect others to pick up the slack for you. You got your features from your parents and previous generations. End of story.

Don't downplay yourself. If you are a good person who's responsible, honest and intelligent, you'll attract good people too. So you're tall and thin. So you have an oval face. You are Asian. There are many others like you.

If you want to work out and tone up, fine. Do it. Just do it for your health and well-being, not to turn into someone you believe other people want. Someone who truly cares about you will not judge you by how slim you are or what your nose looks like.

Who told you your nose was ugly? Seems like the only one convincing you of that is YOU.

Love yourself for who you are and how you look. Let your personality, intelligence and actions speak for themselves. Try not to get stuck with shallow people. The inside is something you have to live with. The outside can change at any time.

Focus on your studies and on your future. Develop as a good person. Be true to your friends (choose them carefully).

You'll be fine. Walk with confidence. If you are really troubled or insecure about your features, talk to a family member. If it's bothering you that much, seek counseling.

BTW, print this question out for yourself. 20 years from now when you are playing with your children and looking at your wife, think about this day.

Everone has something about them that dont like. But you know the funny things is, someone in this world will love your nose and your eyes.
Dont run off and get plastic surgery or anything.
1. Change your hairstyle
2. Chagne your style of clothes
3. Impress the girls!!!
4. Compliment girls ALOT! but dont go to extreme!
