i have recently met this guy and things have been great...he is quite shy and all which is okay by me.here comes the problem...he is always talking about his mate...like most of the time...i thought that it was okay at first but am starting to thing wrong...like could he be gay or sth????plus he is sooo clean and neat and does the dishes and cooks breakfast for his mate at times...and gets ticked off by things like twisted phone cords and petty stuff like that...am i on the right thinking track or am i just overreacting and reading into something that is really nothing..??

Sounds like he is obsessive compulsive to a degree, but it doesn't sound bad at all.
If you are trying to figure out, ask him something like this "what kind of woman would you want to marry", if he is gay, you will find out through this.
If you two are dating, I highly doubt he is gay. He sounds like a great guy and I bet a lot of women would be jealous.

It certainly sounds like he could have some gay tendencies, but even if that is true, he might still be interested in you. A lot of people kind of hang somewhere between gay and straight, and aren't really sure where they fit in.

Ask him!! Stop wondering about it. I once met a guy who I thought was awesome because he loved to shop like me. He was very clean cut, too. Well, instead of just asking him I assumed and stop talking to him. Later, I found out he was straight. Stupid me! Just ask him. What can it hurt?

well .. he can be bisexual...also maybe he love hes mate to much...if he was gay probably he didnt was near you ... or he is to shy that he cant find another discusion... but cooks breakfast for him ... o0 ... i think you should look for a great guy stop distroyng your lifes with guys like that...

some guys are like that, they have been too well thought by their parents or something made them to be like that. it is normal for him to talk about his pal if he ran out of conversation materials. know him more, dont look about his bad side look for the good ones. you'll know if he is gay if he looks differently to his pal.
