OK. I use utorrent but the problem is the same for all torrents.
First off is there only one seeder? If so he is seeding you an incomplete torrent or a corrupted torrent. You may be lucky and the missing .1% is only a text file or NGO. You may already have all the music.
At the bottom of your u torrent you'll see the files tab. This shows all the files and their percentage. check which is uncompleted. If it isn't a music file then you've got all your music.
If, as it seems by your post, it is two music files both stuck at 99.9% then see who you are connected to. It is very unlikely that the whole swarm have a corrupted or incomplete torrent.
Check your settings and bans.
Right click on the torrent in Utorrent, select advanced and then reset bans.
You could be choked. You'll just have a frustrating wait.
You could have put it on queued downloads.
Is the wee green tick on the bottom taskbar or is there a warning triangle. If there is a triangle check your connection, check that your ports are forwarded and check your firewall.
To check your ports go to options/speed guide. If your port isn't forwarded then you'll have trouble getting all the data.
Finally if all else fails try shutting down u torrent and restarting it but remember the problem may not be at your end. sometimes if even one seeder in the swarm hasn't port forwarded it affects everyone.
Is there any way of IMing the seeder private torrent)?
If the torrent is corrupt then walk away and just take the completed files.

When the download completes it checks the file to make sure it is the same as the original. When it is doing this it means there is a problem and it is trying to fix what went wrong.

When it completes it calculates something called a filehash. This is a string of letters and numbers that are unique to a file. It compares this with the hashfile calculated from the original and if they don't match it knows something is wrong. Just leave it and it should hopefully finish.

For some 9 is the fortunate form, 9 is unique like 9+9=18 upload a million+8 its back provides as much as 9 9+9+9 = 27=9 9+9+9+9=36=9 9+9+9+9+9=40 5=9 9+9+9+9+9+9=fifty 4=9 9+9+9+9+9+9+9+sixty 3=9 9+9+9+9+9+9+9+9=72=9 9+9+9+9+9+9+9+9+9=eighty one=9 like clever 9 X 10 = ninety that's back form 9 Indians have been utilising for hundreds of years. i admire 9 its my in demand.

as far as i know with utorrent, if your download does this, there's supposed to be something wrong with the torrent itself, havent had this problem myself yet, but my friend has had it a couple of times now, be patient with it, go back to where you got torrent from and see if there is another torrent the same as the 1 thats stuck
