When I play the video on My Sonic it is fine. However, once I burn it to the DVD it has like a 10 second speech delay where the words are spoken on the screen before my mouth or body starts moving in the video. I have a 5 Stack DVD burner which is top notch. I'm burning the master DVD from my HP Laptop which is also good quality.

So what am I doing wrong in the burning process to cause this delay and how do I fix it. Give me directions in dummies terms please - I'm no expert at burning DVDS. Thanks.

Usually when you get "delays", it means that your computer is not keeping up with sending data to the DVD while it is being burned, so it get burns "late" or with a delay.

Before burning a DVD, shut down everything else on your PC that you possibly can. Disconnect the cable to your network or Internet. The fewer things running, the more resources the DVD burner has to keep working.

Consider increasing the amount of RAM memory in the computer (which means purchasing additional memory). Also, if you are low on disk space, see if you can move some files (music, pictures, videos, etc) off the hard drive and on to CD or DVD, or uninstall some programs you can live without, to free up disk space. The more memory and the more disk space, the better the program can run.

Instead of one long clip, convert your movie into several smaller clips. Most burner programs will "pause" at the end of one clip, caught everything up, and then start again with the next clip. This can reduce a lot of the lag.

Hope one of those will help you....
