I used to love QVC, because they had jewelery that you just can't get in the high street, but they were always sending me rings that had missing stones. I notice, that they don't even try to hide it when the presenter has a piece that's broken, and the most amazing thing is that the item sells out!! How come people still buy the stuff?
It's true I have had some really lovely pieces of jewelery from them, but most of it is badly made and the fact that the quality control doesn't even extend to what they show on live TV, makes me puzzled!

I agree with you that QVC is a pile of Pooh and Tigger Too.

I have always felt that QVC was a rip off and a stupid way to buy things that can't afford a half hour commercial or say "but wait !!!! There's more" !!!!! People - wait till this stuff gets sold to the discount store in your neighborhood and go there and look at the "as seen on TV" section. Then touch, feel, and find out the quality before you buy. At QVC, they count on the fact that you will not and can not be bothered to repackage the junk and send it back. Their entire intention is to make fools of the consumer and get huge profit doing that.

wow, that's interesting, all the things i have had from them were just great (British QVC, at least).
Have you ever tried to exchange the things with missing bits, was it successful?

It's all garbage, I think. If you want really nice jewelry.go to a really high quality jeweler in person and shell out. Crap at 3 in the morning from TV is total bogus.
