Jesus death proved that a man was able to remain faithful to God until death, thus conquering the world. Adam, our first father loss the right for humans to have everlasting life by going against the sovereign of the universe' law and taking what did not belong to him after being warned. Jesus never swayed from following his fathers laws for mankind. His death conquered human sin, it had nothing to do with removing sin and wickedness from the earth at that time. Remember, the scripture says, "sit at my right hand until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet." That happened when Satan and his demons were hurled out of heaven to the earth. The heavens are were the throne of God resides, the earth is it's foot stool. His return will be to do as he did for the heavens, remove wickedness and sin. A war will take place on the earth (Armageddon) which will remove all sin and wickedness once and for all times. He isn't going to fight the antichrist. The antichrist and all of the ungodly will be destroyed by the brightness of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. He's coming to gather the church unto himself and to destroy this corrupt and vile world and then he will create a new heavens and a new earth wherein dwells righteousness. We will live with him forever in the New Jerusalem. He hasn't come back yet because there are still some that haven't received him as their savior, but the time is getting short.

Because of sin, we are witnesses of the reality of sin and what it does. That is why God had to die to redeem us and he will come again and save us and rid the universe of sin, sinners and the devil Satan forever.

Before there was sin, no one knew really what it was it was just a bad thing. But sooner or later it would arise and Lucifer initiated it and therefore in God's infinite wisdom sin is allowed to be played out so that the character of God will be seen and that all the warning before was warranted.

Sin will never again rare its ugly head because God will not allow it again and we wont either because we see what it causes.

Even God had to pay for sin by the death of His only son, which was no ordinary death - no man or woman on earth every had that death - he died for the world everybody who died already died for themself.

Jesus will return and destroy sin, sinners and the devil and take the redeemed home with him.

A human being is a spirit that has a soul and he lives in a body. Salvation is a process. When we are born again our spirits which were dead to God because of our sins are made alive by the Holy Spirit who comes to live in us forever. The first stage is our spirit become alive to God. The second stage which all Christians are undergoing now is to have their souls being transformed. The soul is made up of the will, mind and emotion.
In this process of transformation we need to surrender our will to God's will, we need to have our minds renewed with the mind of Christ and we need not to trust our emotions but walk by faith. Then we will have souls that will bless and please God. The third stage our bodies will be saved by Jesus coming back to give us new bodies made from heaven in place of the old made from the earth. Jesus will also come back to rule the earth for a thousand years.

He came to earth and died, and resurrected because everyone has sinned and we needed forgiveness for that sin. Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice for everyone, not just Jews(where as before he came, Jews had to make an animal sacrifice to be forgiven by God).

Yes, he will return and for more info on that, read the book of Revelation in the Bible, it explains the whole thing. Yahoo Answers really isn't the right place to ask this kind of question because you are bound to get false explanations.

Satan has not been dealt with. It pleases God that Satan should continue for a while. Humankind has many lessens to learn and we have not learned them as yet. The most important lesson is that God is our provider and that we must submit to him in humility. Pride has to be rooted out. God has determined that this we must work out for ourselves under the Godhead of Jesus Christ. Spiritual growth starts here, but it continues on indefinitely. The life we live here is important to that growth. This is the way God has designed mankind. Better to submit without question than to argue with God.

God initiated His wonderful plan thousands of years ago.
If you study the old tesatament, to see what the animal sacrifices were all about. REDEMPTION
We have redemption through the shed blood of the ultimate sacrifice in Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 9:22
(22) And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Thank you for a refreshingly honest question in this section!

The first time He came to redeem those who would come to Him, the second time He'll come to judge those who rejected Him and to set up His kingdom on earth.

You need to understand the Old Testament along with what Jesus did. During old testament times it was required to give sacrifices of livestock and Jesus made that absolete. Well along with that you have to believe in Him, and live as he instructs us to live. There are directions of how we are to live... you can read them in the New Testament.
