What is the best way to compress (further) mp3 files?

mp3's are already compressed. You can't really compress them much more unless you are willing to lose some sound quality. Good luck!

.mp3 files are already highly compressed and will not compress much using any compression programs. About the only way to shrink them is to lower the sampling rate. That will cause a loss of quality -- only you can decide if that's worth it.

yeah, mp3 are of such good quality, but you may try .WAV ; convert your files 5MB becomes 50kb only
