get vista upgrade advisor

Dear to check it's very simple. Just download "Windows Vista upgrade Advisor" from Microsoft and install it on your lap top. Run the program, it will tell you every thing about your laptop configuration and what you will need to upgrade to Vista.

1 GB sounds about right, that seems to be the trend with microsoft windows every new version requires more and more ram.

Minimum 1Gb is what Bill Gates says. Dont bother installing it on a 256Mb system. It wont even let you. :)
