Think about this, if there is life after death the ethiest will be a double loser. But, if you believed in God on earth and when you die you found out that there was no God there is nothing to loose. However, if you were an ethiest and believed you whole life on earth that there was no God and after you die you found out Wow! So, this is specifically for ethiest out there, do you realy want to be a double time losers?

Wad if da opposite happens? Who's da loser than? Since atheist dun believe in God, do u think they will even give a damn if there is God? So in what way are they even gonna lose anything. But for religious ppl if the opposite happens they will be real big time losers...becuz they were imagining that they will be ushered into the gates of heaven with red carpet...but wad will happen when there is no God and u simply lie in ur coffin forever? Losers i call that...

That is called Pascal's Wager. No I do not think there is life after death. It's spelled Atheist and no I am certain I will not be a double time loser, but I would be a single time loser if I wasted my life believing in fantasy...I'd rather live intelligently than in ignorance.

No, I don't feel at all like a double time loser ... because there is no god and no after-life... that's the point of being an atheist. Thats what we believe.

However if you believers die and find out here is no god and no after-life (a hypothetical of course because you won't find out because you are brainless dust) you have wasted the only life you have been given. Worse, much worse!!!!

I do becuse it seems rather "odd" to me that we are the reason that the whole universe was made for, it is odd to believe that we came suddenly to this world and that we will go suddenly and then will go to heaven and stay there indefinitly. It just sounds foolish and beyond the power of resaon tht we have to believe such lame stories.
I see as reincarnation as one candle passing out its flame to another new candle, the new flame is NOT the old flame but the new flame WILL NOT HAVE HAPPENED if not for the old candle. Both are interconnected.

You mean atheists?

I used to be one..

Until I realized that atheism is just another religion.

No, seriously.

I started out as not knowing.

I became a "born again" christian.

I didn't feel comfortable with it because it didn't answer my critical questions.

I became atheist - denying the existence of god.

Then I realized that the same level of proof applied to atheism disproves it to the same degree as all religions.

Hence: I am agnostic. That is, there may be a god, there may not be, no one has proof one way or the other.

Bottom line: If there are N distinct religons, and only one can be correct, your odds of picking the RIGHT ONE are 1/n OR LESS. (After all, it's possible NONE of them are correct!)

This question has been dealt with numerous times on this board, so I will answer it in much the same way...

Do you believe in Odin? If you believe in Odin and after you die it turns out that Odin did not exist, no loss. But if you don't believe in Odin and Odin DOES exist, you will be missing out on the pleasures of Valhalla and will be spending all Eternity in the freezing cold of Hel along with Hela and the other condemned.

it's ATHEIST, you loser

I don't really care about what is going to be after death, the problem is that no matter what is going to be - you are already dead, you can't change anything, you can't do anything

you will be a double loser when you let others tell you what to do, what to think, what to fear and what to believe
