I'm one of the best students, I prefer to stay at home, so I only go out on weekends to the cinema or to a restaurant with my friends, and I never brought any problems to my parents, but when I ask them to spend some time with me, they always have something more important to do, which is not true, and to 'shut me up' the buy me everything I ask for. It's not like I don't appreciate the gifts, but sometimes I would like to spend time with them.
I asked them a while ago why they couldn't go to my room, since I had done a few drawings, but they said they were busy (doing nothing)
Can someone help me?

have u ever find out why they pay less attention to u? if Ur answer is yes, l think the next step is to call for a meeting with just u and Ur parents, discuss the issue and make them see reasons why u need their attention and if they refuse, then l have one best way to make them value u as the most precious gift from God.
u have to take a trip to a place where they cant find u then stay away for a week or two but make sure u leave be hide just Ur phone number no physical address. with the phone number, there are sure to contact u, this time u have to revisit the issue again, making them know that u will only come back home if they are willing to give u Ur well deserve attention.l belt u they will be busy begging to accept ur condition with ultmost sincerity.

To my opinion, you sound like a very very good kid. Your parents ignore you probably it has nothing to do with you. It is the fact that at times, they might have a big problem that they need to take care of and now they are putting you aside to work things out together. They might not tell you because they don't want it to be your business. All you have to do is continue to be who you are and don't do something you are not suppose to do because that will frustrate them and change the way they feel about you. Sooner or later, they will talk to you again. Parents can't ignore kids for life. They will want to spend time with you especially if you are a teenager and is still in high school.

have you try to be a bit rebellious...? give them some excitement...? something for them to challenge their parental skill...?
being a good and clean children is what every parent dream of but to be honest they also need something to challenge their parental skill.
i honestly think they just fed up with all your perfectness in most things. not to say that they fed up with you as their child but they think as if you don't need them anymore. because you've done most of thing perfect. that's why they replace their attention with things they can buy for you. so in that way you'll have more things to go around.
so...think about something to challenge them and you will see, they will more give attention to you. but careful not to cross the limit. stay away from drugs is a must!!!
good luck in trying...!

can i have ur parents..for a day or tw...jk.just confront them about it, tell them u need them now & ask them what are they afraid of & why they're bein so permissive?
Maybe get them something good to read about authoritative parenting style & maybe they'll get the hint.
Don't let them ignore u.
Best wishes.
