Social Security will be gone soon. Jobs are harder to find & does not pay to support a desent living due to corprate greed & outsourcing. Health care is on the rise & hard to afford. Everything is getting more & more expensive by the day such as gas, housing, food, ..etc. Is our country heading for a melt down & we will find ourselfs in a civil revolution & emigrating somewhere else or change into socialism ,as the best solution ?

Yes, but it looks bleak. Our government no longer serves the will of the American people. They plan a North American Union with Mexico and Canada against the will of the American majority. Government corruption is at it's highest. 65 million Americans are without health care coverage while our government gives away $ 131 Billion to illegal aliens in free health care, education and other services. Social security is predicted to go bankrupt by 2044 and that is without tallying in the constant influx of thousands of illegal immigrants from everywhere. Medicaid is predicted to go bankrupt by 2014 and again without tallying in the effects of thousands of illegals. We house the largest prison system in the world, with 1 out of 5 being illegals aliens and at what cost. Wages are by no means keeping up with the cost of living. Government reports indicate that most Americans are one to two paychecks away from being homeless. Hospitals are closing their doors at a unprecedented and never before seen rate due to providing health care to illegal immigrant women bearing children. We are presently at the dawn of a meth epidemic, nation wide due to drug cartel smugglers from Mexico and south America. The increase in gangs in America is also at an epidemic stage as well. Our nation is divided over immigration and the war in Iraq. While we wear out our war machines and allow our youngest and brightest men and women to die or become permanently disabled and our strongest ally, the UK announces it's putting half it's navy in mothballs, our enemy, China has military navel shipyards operating 24/7, building warships in preparation for 2012. Russia, our other enemy, continues to supply and sell weapons to Iran, China, president Chavez and no telling who else. Russia anounced awhile back, that they have developed a nuclear weapon unlike anything seen before and recently announced a new missile system that can deliver it's payload faster than anything on the planet. Our country is how many trillions of dollars in the hole and we're still providing how many billions of dollars in foregin aid and spending how many billions on the war in iraq. Leading democracy experts explain that democracy, though being the worlds greatest form of civilization, last roughly 200 years and we've already exceeded that mark and that the latter stages of these 8 stages are #7- apathy to dependence and #8 being, dependence back into bondage. As of the 2000 presidential elections, 40% of America's population has already become government "dependent". We are believed to be at stage #6 (Complacency to apathy) of this 8 stage "fall of an civilization".
Israel is presently practicing bombing runs in preparation for dropping low yeild nukes on Iran's nuke plants, which just throws an extra situation into the mix, while Iran continues to promise the total destruction of Israel. So, again, yes. Their is a furture in America. But possibly only for the heartiest of insects that can withstand the nuclear fallout and ensuing nuclear ice age that follows. May God bless America once more and give us one last chance to return to his grace, before it's to late.

If you live extremely cheaply and find a job right away, I'd say about 2 to 3 thousand dollars. But I mean you'll have to live in abasement in the ghetto, ride the bus, and eat ramen. This is not counting the plane ticket.

That is a very good question and one that I don't think that anyone here can really answer. It's a wait and see. Hopefully those that are in DC will collectively pull their head from their...butts...and start doing the right things. I don't see that happening...but who knows.
I do know that I am making a backup plan to make sure that I have my affairs in order so in the event I have to leave this country...I can!

Please come to America, use our resources, don't pay taxes, be a burden on social services, and complain about your income.
Does some things up for you?
No where else in the world do you have the opportunity to suceed and fail than in America. You choose your own path. If you accept your situation, don't cry about it.

wow...the answer by 'aka white knight' pretty well sums it all up. Unfortunately, the kids today have been schooled in the government's 'public school system' and will not be able to comprehend his answer much less be able to do something about it.
We can still preserve our country but it is going to require a huge awakening by America's citizens.
