Yes there is a different planet between the ears. These women are looking for tough guys with a good heart and that's hard to find. I suggest that you stop being so much of a friend and display an interest before the turmoil starts and still keep your good heart but guard it a little.

Well, I hate to say this but even though most girls say they want a nice guy they usually end up going for the ones they shouldn't. ( myself included) I've managed to catch a nice guy, and am very happy that I did. Perhaps you are not looking in the right places. But I have also been told that it is when you are not looking that the right one finds you. Be patient, she is out there, you just have to let her find you. Oh, and I doubt you are invisible right after the question is asked. They are probably too scared to admit it to themselves. Either that or they are not all that serious about finding a nice guy. Hope I was at least a little help.....

Have you asked any of these girls out.
There are a few women that are shallow and want the Hollywood hunk as well as the nice guy.
And a lot of us don't think before we ask the question, especially if the guy has only ever given us the impression he's just a mate hence why I asked you if you had asked any of these girls out.
Mixed signals can cause a lot of confusion in both genders you'll meet the girl one day.

Is it because woman secretly don't want a 'nice' man....just yet anyway...I am assuming you are single and under 30...wait until you hit 30 mate..you will have all the marrying types after you! Until then try and change from a nice guy to a naughty guy sometimes and see what happens.....for the under 30's nice and safe is not fun and sexy.....get a new image...go for the bad boy look and enjoy!!

Maybe their waiting for you to take the next step, they've made it obvious that they kinda like you by saying that. Why not reply with 'how about it then? I'll take you out for dinner on friday night.'

Just as short and quick as that. Of course if they are already attached and they arent happy and are just kinda moaning to you about it, then they're looking for a solution for that problem, but cant break free. On the other hand if they're single, any girl would find it hard to say no. Give it a try.

Man you have to quit being SO nice...I'm not saying be an a$$hole but don't let girls walk on you. Women want a man not a doormat that's why they go for "bad" guys. Be a good MAN not a good guy and you'll be beating em off with a stick...but you won't have to beat them because you'll find the perfect girl for you...Aint life grand?

oh man.. that's a tough question. well, sometimes, we gals do know that there is a nice guy right in front of us. the thing is, some guys, no matter how nice he is, he is just but a friend to us. He can give us all the love in the world, but we women just can't love him back. Well, I suppose you belong to that category? Just a comment =)

Definitely a different planet. I don't know what to tell you. I think some women require a certain amount of drama in their lives to exist. It's funny because most men don't want a bad girl...at least not in public.

Ha ha ha. Most likely they say that because they want to pose to be a "good girl". They do it all the time to me. They could also not find interest in you or your looks, or they could look at you as "just a friend" because they want those "hott" guys. If the first I mentioned, you might find those girls at the club or on red-light district in a couple weeks.

Maybe you put yourself out there as being 'unavailable' Maybe try flirting a little bit and see what reaction you get? Or maybe you just aren't their type in the first place?
