glass. Very clean glass bottles, preferably boiled and sterilized. Cork or caps also need to be sterilized.

Some supermarkets have 3 litre demijon bottles of vinager for very cheap. Just pour it and out and use bicarbonate of Soda to exterminate any odours and store in them.

Alternativley you can buy hard plastic 20 litre containers that are used to brew and bulk store, must be 100% sterile before sealing and not scratched inside.

Good luck,

Yep - plastic pop bottles are fine. I've stored homebrewed wine, beer & cider in these, and, though never spirits (do you really mean spirits? Like Whiskey/Vodka? Are you distilling moonshine or what?) I have transferred gin & so forth into plastic bottles to bring it back from Spain and had no problems storing it in them - the glass bottles weigh as much as the booze inside, so I use plastic - can bring twice as much back!

Brewing spirits might be a tax issue. Best stored in bottles with good seals. It's also a fire risk of course!

Do you know what you are doing? Your local fire service and your neighbours will love to know you are producing hazardous material but don't know how to store it correctly. That is if the police, customs office and health inspectors don't shut you down first. Why not invite them all round and they can party, after they have locked you away.
