It's not about giving an ex-convict a second chance. Rather, I' just trying to find out whether the government had passed any law regarding this matter? Or does his/her past record slims down the chances of him/her becoming an officer?

The Government has passed several laws on the issue.

You cannot be a cop if you have ever been convicted of a felony.

You cannot be a cop if you have ever been convicted of a misdemeanor involving domestic violence, drugs, or theft. This includes bouncing checks.

You cannot be a cop if you have ever been convict of a crime felony or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude. This includes prostitution. hiring a prostitute, public lewdness, masturbating in an adult movie house, or getting a ******** in the bathroom at a bar.

Well, maybe. For infractions committed while a juvenile might be overlooked depending on how many offenses and what type. Convictions as an adult would in all likely hood disqualify someone from become a police officer.

If some one does not quit her she will in simple terms save doing it. no person has the the main suitable option to harm some one else. you will desire to get some variety of justice performed for your self and others she harm. think of if she hurts healthful human beings able to battling back like that what could she do to animals or a sick guy or woman who can not get up for themselves. there are police agencies that will consider the applications of people convicted of certain misdemeanor offenses but none that consider applicants with felony convictions.

Not a chance if convicted of a Felony....can't carry a fire arm....can't run for public office either.

officers are considered to be of "high moral character". a convicted felon lacks that description.

If you have a criminal record, no, I DO not think so..........

You might be able to pretend to be one though, even
though this will get you an even worse record than ever
