That would depend a lot on you.

I think that humans in general have a desire to make a contribution, to participate, to use themselves for something larger than their own temporary relief from pain or stimulation of pleasure.

"This is the true joy of life, the being used up for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; being a force of nature instead of a feverish, selfish little clod of ailments and grievances, complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy.

I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the community, and as long as I live, it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can. I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work, the more I live.

Life is no "brief candle" to me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for a moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations."

Absolutely not. It makes sense to believe or know that there is something else after this life. If all this life was for us to work a job for 40 years and then retire only to die at any moment and for what.........NOTHING! That would be a waste.

So it makes more sense to believe in a God that created everything. Not because people say or the bible says, but because it is logically sound and the evidence is all around us.

There is life after death, so this life that we are living has meaning and purpose. To know God better than we know ourselves so that when we stand before him on that great day. He will say, "Well done my good and faithful servant."

Life s worth living simply becausee there is an end - Death.
Just think, doing something endlessly would have been so boring. It would get so monotonous. Life is a party, freak out...enjoy it, before it gets over. But do it meaningfully, let it not go a waste. Have Fun!

It's the living that's important and how you do it. Death comes to us all and is nothing to fear. So far with all the ups and downs in my life I have enjoyed it so to me yes life is worth living.

Yes, in fact knowing it is finite is one of the most important reasons for living well and making the most of life.

All experience is transient. Is a friend worth having, even though you might have to part one day? Is a flower any less beautiful for only lasting a few days? Can you enjoy your son or daughter's childhood, even though it will pass?

I think it would make it that much more important to do the best you could with the life you have. It might seem scary that it would be the end, but think of all the stuff you could accomplish in the 80+ years you would be around on this planet.

it's a pause and it could be the end, but it depends on judgment day. If it wasn't for death, life may have never been fully appreciated. One doesn't know what something is worth until it's lost.

Why not? I think that makes life MORE worth living.

If there is something better AFTER death, why bother waiting?
