if you used soap and very warm water yopu should get rid of most of the smell - the smell is as a result of volatile oils and the heat will drive the volatiles out. any remaining smell can be maked by something like lemon juice.
For future use visit a specialist kitchen store - they should be able to sell you a "stailess steel soap". It's really just a soap-shaped peice of stainless steel that attracts the volatiles out of your skin (i think it does this using ionization).

use a hand soap that has beads in it. or if you dont have that, then put some liquid soap on your hands, and sprinkle some salt in it, that will work as an exfoliater, and it can get rid of the smell. Good Luck!

Parsley. Get a bunch and rub it between your hands. That's why they always put a sprig of parsley on the side of your plate, you're supposed to eat it cause it neutralise's the smell.

The lemon juice or stainless steel works. You can also try baking soda or vinegar.
