At the minute I am on GarnierPure Deep Pore Wash. it was working ok, then im at the end of the bottle, and it seems to not work anymore. Is it true that you should change your face wash when your at the end of he first because you get "used" to it? x

Hi, yes, with so many choices on the market it is really hard to make a decision...that is why Mary Kay offers a great opportunity to try before you buy. There are two choices I would suggest for you...first being the TimeWise Combo to Oily formula 3 in 1 face wash. It will cleanse, exfoliate and tone. It does have GENTLE microbeads to exfoliate and they are designed to NOT irritate sensitive skin. If that does not sound like something you are interested in, Mary Kay does have a cleansing bar that also cleanses, exfoliates and tones without the strong beads you are hoping to avoid. You can also go with the Mary Kay classic line deep cleanser would be a great second option. Combine any of those options with the Time Wise age-fighting moisturizer for combo to oily skin and you'll be doing great.

I have always had oily skin that is really sensitive. I have tried everything you could ever imagine so i feel ur pain. At the top of the range you have Dermalogica (fantastic but expensive) Then Proactive. Proactive can be drying so i only use the cleanser and Repair lotion at night. The repair lotion will help to dry out any new breakouts. It actually takes up to three months for a pimple or acne to form because the bacteria needs to grow so proactive works to clear the pore. It is good for prevention but is not a cure.
Hope this helps

Witch hazel face wash or Body shop Tea-Tree face wash foam, both gentle but effective. I had acne for years and went through several harsh medical treatments (including the infamous Roaccutane) until one day I went to another dermatologist who told me I had sensitive skin and since then I have got rid of all my anti-bacterial stuff and only use gentle natural face washes. I currently use the Aloe Vera one by the Body shop. Over the last ten years I have found that two things work really effectively, drinking green tea first thing in the morning on an empty stomach (usually with honey to boost the metabolism) and I also keep tea-tree oil with me wherever I go as it zaps spots over night and stops spots getting infected (if you do have the occasional sinful squeeze!). Hope it helps!

well i always use oxy face wash because its gentle and doesnt make your skin feel all tight afterwards! its got some moisturising ingredients in it aswel so you can also get smooth skin! i have oily skin and if by the middle of the day my face has become oily again, i normally use some blotting paper, but if thats too expensive you could always use greaseproof paper.
if your acne is really bad, i would go to your doctors because they perscribed me this face cream called zineryt, ive been using it for about a month and most of my acne has gone now!

hope ive helped you

I've been using Superdrug's Tea Tree Foaming Face Wash for years now, it's a liquid that turns into foam when you pump it. Really smooth but leaves your face feeling really clean. Gentle on the eyes. I have friends who say you should change your face wash every so often, but I like the one I've got so never bothered. That said, it definitely used to make my face tingle a lot more when I first started using it.

I'd also recommend L'oreal Pure Zone Anti-Regreasing Moisturiser (what a name for a product - catchy eh?!) to use in the morning, so skin doesn't get too greasy throughout the day.

You can get a great facial foam wash out of Lidl's for either sensitive or oily skin which I have used and found to be very good.
