I have this guy friend at work and we get on really well. We've been out as mates for like pictures etc. Thing is i really like him and i just get this feeling that he likes me too. Problem is he's been talking recently about girls and he wants to find someone, and if theres an attractive girl on a picture or tv he'll say she's nice etc. And he's on about going to a nudist beach (for the obvious!) but i don't know if he's saying all this just to see what my reaction is or if he's serious. I mean is he just trying to make me jealous? It's working if he is cos it makes me feel horrible, but the thing is as soon as i say i like someone etc it's as if he don't like it he goes all quiet and that. Like the other day i said ooh find me someone like Johnny Depp and he kind of turned away and said he wouldn't be good enough! He's very mature and only jokes around for fun not because he's immature, i just don't know what to think, i mean if i made the first move what things could i do?

Reasons i think he likes me are the way he looks at me, he wants to do stuff for me, he alays wants to talk to me, he confides in me, he kind of licks his lips when he talks to me, stands really close to me and is just a really lovely guy. Do you think he's waiting for me to make the first move? He's kinda quiet around other people and only really lets go when he's with me.

Hmm, tough. It seems to me like he is interested in you. If you guys have gone out a lot alone and he brings up things like women and nudist beaches, he's going for the subjects that will make you react and give him a hint about how you feel about him.
I say be bold and ask him out on an official date. If by any chance you find out he is not interested, you can easily smooth it over by saying how the boundaries were sort of blurred and that you enjoyed his company. Hopefully it won't come to that, though because it sounds like he's into you :)

He is definately into you. There is no way that you would ask a girl that you didnt like to a nudist beach as if they liked you then they would get the wrong idea and you would have to turn them down.
He probably doesnt think that you like him but and is probably scared that he would have to see you every day at work if he asked and was rejected (and you could tell your colleagues)
I guess it is time for you to flirt so he knows what answer he will get when he asks you out. :)
Though as the previous person says, work romances can be bad so make sure you think that it will be worth it and that he is the type of person to act rationally in a breakup (well as rationally as you can expect in those situations.)

Don't risk your jobs. Dating at work can be hazardous. If things work out, then everyone will be okay. But there is a very good possibility that it won't last so why risk your jobs.
