I asked the girl i love out and i don;t seem to be getting anywhere. She hasn't said no but is playing hard to get. A friend of her's says she definitely has feelings for me but as yet won't cut me a break, as she's afraid of affecting our friendship...

If she liked you, she would have let you know by now!
She probably does care about you though, but in a different way and does not want to hurt you feelings. That is why she is 'playing hard to get' as you say, she is just not sure of how to tell you she is not interested in you in that way.....
I am sorry, but you have to move on mate. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and people generally realise what they had only after they have lost it! If you are meant to be together it is going to happen, just stop trying so hard, it puts people off........

playing hard to get is just that, playing a game that children play. whats so hard about a yes or no!. give her another chance if she says maybe but i dont want to ruin our friendship then tell her she can stick her fiendship up her ***. you shouldnt be friends with women anyway, it never works out.

Don't assume. Move on. There are plenty of females out there. Sorry to break the news, but she aint interested.
