I have an HD antenna and a cable line, but i only have one coaxial input on my TV. I think i need an A/B switch do I? And my other question is, when you switch from cable to antenna, you have to search for the channel every time! Can you do something so you don't have to search for the channels every time you switch from cable to antenna (vice-versa).

Ok I have question for you and a possible solution. 1st, are you receiving HDTV signals via HD antenna and cable line or only by HD antenna? I am guessing by HD antenna only. If this is the case then do you have a VCR or anything else with a tuner also attached to your TV? If so I'd have the coax input set for the HD antenna and watch cable via the VCR tuner. That way you wouldn't have to search for channels each time you change.

I have a Panasonic 42" plasma and that is what I'm doing.

specific. yet I dont' think of there's a spliter for this ~ you are able to purely could desire to disconnect your CABLE (container) to apply the Antenna Feed. Or in case you are able to desire to placed your television on a particular channel to get carry of CABLE, then purely substitute the channel on your television to regardless of channel you desire. Or if it is going by your CABLE container or VCR - substitute the channel on that to regardless of channel you desire and that's going to be the antenna feed. i think of........that's smart to me.
