Yes. You should only use a little shampoo, and only wash it every other day. You should still take a shower and rinse your hair on the days you don't use shampoo.

yes using shampoo everytime you bathe(assuming you bathe everyday)can fry your hair. you should actually only use shampoo a couple of times a week. the natural oils in your hair are good for healthy hair growth. constant shampooing retards the oils.aslong as you take care of your hair it will continue to stay healthy.

It depends upon what shampoo you are using. In India there are various herbal shampoos which you can use daily as you use hair oil.
