I vol. at my local shelter at least once a week, and don't want to scare you but if the smell of the poo is so bad it makes you retch, it is more then likely parvo or coccidiea (I have probably spelled that wrong) You probably paid a ton for you blue (my blue was the smartest dog and my best friend I have ever had til my Saint Bernard to date), I will tell you the vet trip is going to cost a ton, if you dont have the money they might make payment arrangements for you, but IF it is parvo or cocc. it can take less then 1-2 days for a dog, even less for a puppy to pass on. While you are finding an animal emergancy, try to get pedialite (gatorade has sugar and is not as high in electrolytes, the severe dehydration will be one of the main causes of passing on) If the worst happens, and your dog DOES have parvo or coccidiea (you should already understand going to the vet is not an option but something you must do), BLEACH EVERYTHING IT POOED OR THREW UP ON, in four months, you could have your friends dog could come over and it could get parvo if not everything is throughly bleached out of ALL contacted surfaces (it reamains "catchy" for 6 months if not cleaned properly, I can not stress this enough! Food bowls, blanket, new toys, toss the old and even take a sprayer w/bleach water or bucket to back yard..) I wish you the best through this and cross my fingers it doesn't turn out as bad as this sounds.

PS If she still has strength to eat canned food, try this, but the no poe I would have to agree w/ the blockage sponge/quater statmnt above. Was she weened before you got her? How long have you had her?? Have you tried a bottle, and had she previously ate hard food? Even once or twice.

Please take her to the vet immediately. I know vet bills are expensive, we have 2 cats and 1 dog, but she is ill in a bad way. Most times when an animal is throwing up that is their bodies way of trying to get rid of something that is not suppose to be in the stomach. Duh right? But seriously your pup may have eaten something potentially poisonous or has a blockage in the small intestine like a quarter or a piece of sponge or something you didnt catch him eat. Especially if she is no longer doing a number 2 she may have a blockage . Please post the results even if i am not picked for your best answer so i know how she is getting along. Good luck babe and get her to a vet! :O)

HI,
First of all call the vet she may have a blockage or parvo and both can be deadly, If you have gatoradie or pedialyte get some into with a syringe or eye dropper you don't want her dehydrate before you can get her to vet.

could be parvo, but my guess it is possibly WORMS...........ALL puppies have worms and worms can cause vomitting and diarreah. If the pup is trying to stay in the water dish, or drinking excessive amounts of water, it more than likely is worms and worms WILL KILL the poor thing...........
If the pup discontinued eating and drinking, the poop has a very foul odor it probably is parvo................
worms will cause a foul odor in their feces also..............
best thing to do is go to the vet, no matter what puppies dehydrate easily and needs vet attention NOW...............

Sounds to me as if she has a serious gastrointestinal problem. Please follow the advice of the others on here as well and get her to the vet ASAP. There is something wrong.

She should be able to eat hard food by now. Throwing up an diarrhea is not normal. Sounds like there is something seriously wrong.

Has your puppy been vaccinated? She could have Parvo. It is deadly for puppies. Get your dog to the vet.
