A sheet of containing data, can compute various calculation, providing financial result and information, like revenue, expenses, costing etc is known as spreadsheet analysis.

Before in Lotus 123 worksheet was called spreadsheet, now MS Excel is known as spreadsheet. In broad term it can define in this way.
