well, a mamzer ("bast*ard" in an english version of the bible) is not somebody who was born out of wedlock, it is somebody born of incest between jews or between two adulterers who were jewish. and what "shall not enter into the congregation of the L-rd" means is "shall not marry a jew" not "goes to hell." the hebrews didn't believe in hell, that lovely place was thought up by the christians.

(Deuteronomy 23:2) “No illegitimate son may come into the congregation of Jehovah. Even to the tenth generation none of his may come into the congregation of Jehovah.
Jesus, with his Father's approval [ His father, Amighty God, had the scripture written in the first place] has done away with all those Old Testament laws and replaced them ALL with only two...love god and ove your neighbour.
also, at (Acts 10:34-35) At this Peter opened his mouth and said: “For a certainty I perceive that God is not partial, 35Â but in every nation the man that fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.
You will not be punished in any way because of what your G.G. Grandfather did.

Your quote is from the old testament under the old law that was speaking of the Isrealites.
Jesus, in the new testament, took care of all the rituals and sacrifices that were required under the old law when he gave his life to save us. He was the ultimate sacrifice, the perfect one.
The new testament (KJV) states "No man cometh to the Father (GOD) but by me" It also says "lest a man be born again, he shall not see the Kingdom of GOD"
I am sorry I cannot give you the exact places and references, I do not have my Bible with me at this time.
But if you know what verses you are using, then that means you have access to a Bible. read more of the new testament to understand how a Gentile, non-isrealite, can get to Heaven. Romans chapter 8 - 10 might be a good place.

Let me start with the bottom line: You can go to heaven.
According to the Jewish religion, any Israelite who was born out of strictly forbidden relationship "shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD", in other words, shall not marry an Israelite, but may marry someone else, and can go to heaven. According to Christianity (as far as I know), this rule was changed in the New Testament.

Take that passage in the same spirit most people take " If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well....." (Matthew 5:38-42, NIV) or from Exodus 35:2 "For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death.."
Do you think if someone slaps you in the face and takes your coat away and you'll do what the Bible says? Also, do you believe anyone who works on a Sabbath (Saturday or Sunday) must be put to death?
Of course not. So why torturing yourself over the passage you quoted?

Read the New Testament, and yes you can go to Heaven if you are born again and saved.
John 3:3, 3:16, 3:5
These are just a start.

Allah says in Qur'an
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
[35:18] Nor can a bearer of burdens bear another's burden. If one heavily laden should call another to (bear) his load, not the least portion of it can be carried (by the other), even though he be nearly related. Thou canst but admonish such as fear their Lord unseen and establish regular Prayer. And whoever purifies himself does so for the benefit of his own soul; and the destination (of all) is to Allah.
[35:19] The blind and the seeing are not alike;
[35:20] Nor are the depths of Darkness and the Light;
[35:21] Nor are the (chilly) shade and the (genial) heat of the sun:
[35:25] And if they reject thee, so did their predecessors, to whom came their Messengers with Clear Signs, Scriptures and the Book of Enlightenment.

Deuteronomy is part of the Old Covenant which is no longer in force since Jesus died on the cross and instituted a new covenant. Don't worry about it.

This is Old Testament. The New Covenant of faith in Jesus Christ says all your past sins are covered and forgiven when you accept Jesus Christ as your savior and Lord of your life. So this is nothing to worry about.
