They're just needy people looking for attention. Adornments have always been used to get others to notice you.

There's nothing wrong with it and **** the people that thing it's gross and nasty.
How ignorant can you be to judge people based on tattoos?
It's not your body. It's what's on the inside, not out.
Take the time to look beneath the tattoos and see what's underneath because there could be a great person.

i try never to make judgements on people based on the way they look. i have tattoos. if you met me right now, you wouldn't know that i had tattoos and you would probably get the impression that i am somewhat quiet and reserved.
however many people automatically jump to conclusions about tattooed people. i think it is ridiculous and ignorant on their part.

well a person with a tatoo is taken to b sumone with an attitude.
but if u look closer it depends upon what the tatto is...
e.g:a guy with a tatoo of a cross wud say that he challenges authority but is religous. Yet he is fiesty enough to get a tatoo(not exactly a favored move for anyone within the church)
sumone with an asain symbol..challenging the higher power and its existence.
sumone with a gf or bf name wud mean thier ok with saying their claimed....
basically its all in the detail
but the under current is AttI TUDE

If it was a small tattoo.. I think it'll look okay. Maybe even cute. And my impression would be normal. But I really dont like people that go OVER with tattoos (tattoos on there head, neck, whole arms, legs, back.. ) I just dont like that. Even if a person has TEN small or moderate tattoos, I'd like that better than a person that has only one whole arm tattoo'd.

As the wife of a tattoist. My hubby has sleeves, and one of them goes down to his knuckles on his left hand. He is looked at, and feared, and people step aside. Which I find so funny, when we are out together. We have 4 children, and I have only 4 tats that you dont normally see. It makes people stop and look, or double take even at times. But thats their issues. Not ours! There are the impressions that we get out and about without our children. I look at it as decoration. He has sooooo many diffent things on him, from our childrens birthdates & astrological signs to hammer, screws, nails (he is a builder also) and skulls, headstones, and also wolves (his favorite animal).

I think they are fine just as long as the person doesn't go overboard with having them done. Those who do, don't think about how they will look when they get old. My father had a nightmare once that he died, and no one knew who he was so he had his name and birthdate tattoo'd on his arm. When he reached about 55 it became hard to read and just looked like a messed up blob of dark blue ink. You had to stretch the skin to read it. After 20 years they seem to start to fade as well, they will need to go have them touched up. Especially if they are done in colors.

If its a cute butterfly or rose tattoo i'll think the person must have a sexy side, if its one w/ a gun i'll think he/she is a thug or bad guy/girl, if its a skull I think that person worships someone other than god, it just depends on what tattoo they have.
