Phd's in anthropology, etc, imagine all sorts of scenarios involving their pet; the missing link (for which there is no evidence), and they and others theorize fantastic origins for stars, animals and others. Why can't they just look at the evidence and admit a Creator God? They are the sort of people who couldn't open a can in their kitchen and would therefore starve to death. College sure produces some strange things.

I guess you are speaking about Richard Dawkins' cookery skills here. I would have more respect for him if he could show me he could make a good beans on toast supper.
I guess the reason they have to come up with fantastic theories is their PhD theses would look rather thin if the answer was always "God created them that way". You could get any old duffer getting a PhD that way.
I wouldn't fancy much going to my Doctor when I was seriously ill, and him telling me it is God's will and sending me home. I guess the hope of Science is that it can come up with some new discovery or advance that promises a cure and improves our quality of life.

Science is about exploring the universe and revealing its workings. Religionists would deny us that right by insisting that we just accept some invisible deity magically created it-now that really is strange not to mention sinister.

There is evidence of transitional fossils... A lot. The only way the claim of their absence may be remotely justified, aside from ignoring evidence, is if you don't understand the meaning of transitional.

Creator god? And WE have wild fantasies?

"College sure produces some strange things."

Yup... like computers, DVDs, cures for polio, smallpox, and cancer, and those footprints on the moon.

Opps sorry I thought this was a sexual fantasy question for educated people. Just for the record mine are wild. Very, very wild.
