As Murphy said and gave you a link to it, The RM has a Postcode finder. The only drawback with this is you are limited to 12 searches a day.

Go to your local Post Office and they should have a Postcode book. Ask them for an old one. Failing that try your local library for the Collins Postcode Atlas

You could try the royal mail website. If you can pick an address in the are you are looking at you can enter that in the postcode finder et voila.

I think I've also heard something about postcode maps . . . ?

Go to the royal mail website and register. You can search by name of road, street, town etc. it will give you the correct postcode. xx

have you tried the library I'm sure they have things like that there they have electoral registers so they prob have postcode area's

Try this site. Royal Mail, it lets you have 12 seaches. If you have numbers, streets etc your home!

go to the royal mail webstie www.royalmail.com and you can search for post codes. you need to register but it is free and they only need an e-mail address from you
