Starbucks over roasts their coffee so that the taste is strong and dark ... often too strong In my opinion and I lllluuuuuuvvvvvvvv coffee!
But they have many mocha frappa whosa whatsits that are mostly milk, sugar, flavors, and whipped cream with just a shot or two of coffee. Can't tell you the names without my English/Fritalian code book!
Hey ... I once had some orange slushy chai (I think that's the chiindofriatalian name for tea) thing at SB that wasn't my cup of tea (pun intended) but was real tasty I suppose. I'm sure they have some frozen chai slushy fruity creamy thingee that will float your boat.

Consider yourself very lucky to be a Starbucks virgin! Be proud and stand tall, and do NOT change your status! Keep on walking past the Evil Green Giant and go to your local place where their passion for coffee is real and not forged because of benefits for part time employees. :)

They have tea and hot chocolate, both of which are very good. They also make some awesome iced coffees that taste more like mocha than coffee.

You can have peppermint tea or a juice or other cold drinks which are nice. I don't like coffee but I can always find something that I like in there if I go with a group people

Why would you WANT to go there?
Anyway, if you try the hot chocolate, be aware that it's made with milk--possibly whole milk. It's disgusting.
Their tea selection is pitiful as well. I wanted a nice Darjeeling, but they only had trendy mixes with names which told me nothing about their contents.
My advice is to just buy a cookie and forget the beverages, or to go somewhere else entirely.

A slice of capuccino cake.
When you eat that, smell the coffee from other table. Then order capuccino latte. Nice choice!

stay outta staryucks. their standards of labor for the coffee pickers and baristas are horrible.
go to dunkin donuts, where all the coffee is certified fair trade.

cinnamon latte. regular coffees there are too strong and have kind of a bitter/burnt taste.
dunkin donuts on the other hand are smooth and go down easy.
