As you only have 2 weeks, then I'd suggest you try to see the best of 1 or 2 countries...

how about 2 weeks in Spain
(Madrid, Barcelona, Salamanca, Seville, Cordoba, Granada)

or 2 weeks in France and Germany
(Paris, Versaille, Strasbourg, then Berlin, Munich, and Dresden)

or 2 weeks in Italy
(Rome, Florence, Venice, Verona, Cinque Terre)

or 2 weeks in the UK
(London, Bath, Oxford & Cambridge, Brighton, Exeter, York, Durham, Edinburgh)

you could travel around by train, and I recommend you stay in Hostels to get the most out of your trip

If you want to see the world in only 2 weeks the only place you can see it from is the moon.

Well places I would like to see are

Machu Picchu

Great Wall of China

Grand Canyon and Yosemite National park.

Taj Mahal

Great Barrier Reef

Think they would take more than 2 weeks though

With only 2 weeks to spare, a trip to the moon is the only place you can see the whole world. 6 days to get there, 2 days to view, 6 days back.

If you want to cram in as much as you can then i would suggest rail travel through Europe. I had 19 days interrailing last summer and i managed to see Prague, Krakow, Auschwitz, Warsaw, Budapest, Zagreb, and Plitvice Lakes in Croatia, and got the train through Slovenia, Slovakia and Austria. Hostels are cheap so your money will go further, and so long as you dont wanna laze on a beach.....you will be able to pack in lots of culture and sights without it costing you too much. Have fun whatever you do!
