well, as long as you love each other you can over come any problems that you face. Actually if there is such a difference there is a high probabilty of family and friends interference. But it all depends on the strength and love you both have. If you manage this, then every body has no option any more than accepting your relationships. Be strong and Good Luck!!

Not true! My guy and I are of different religions. If he has respect for yours and you for his, there is nothing to worry about. Celebrating each others festivals together will also get your closer. You don't have to practise his religion or anything. If you guys are going to get married and have kids, just make sure to discuss what religion your child is going to follow or just decide on letting the child do what he is comfortable with when he grows up. Ultimately, if you both love each other greatly and have a lot of understanding and respect for one another, you have nothing to worry about. The foundations are strong for the relationship.

It depends on how much your faith means to you. If you each simply affiliate with different faiths but it isn't a big part of your lives, things will go smoothly. However, if you are both strongly grounded in your faiths and they determine your beliefs regarding a lot of things (for example, how to raise your children) then yes, it's going to be a problem. Of course, that would also depend on just how different the religions are.

my boyfriend is christian and i'm agnostic. his mom doesn't know yet, but might be a little upset about it. but it does not affect our relationship at all. i think that as long as there's respect between you two, things should be fine.
