I found this website that may come useful:

Although its possible you have already found it. The people really know what they are talking about. Loads of stuff there.

Talking about it rather than doing it is as good a first step as any.
Borderline, the technical term for cutters, is not too rare, and it causes feelings of numbness. Borderline can mimic basically any other mental illness, but only borderlines mutilate themselves. You know that if you cut yourself, your body will flood with endorphins that will, indeed, make you feel better for a minute or two.
Depaco and Zoloft can work well for some borderlines.
To take your mind off cutting, try any little goth activity you can think of:
angst poetry, black and white art, or just read a scary story.
I find that, although I'm different from borderline, a psycho movie makes me feel better because at least my real life isn't THAT bad.

LOL sorry i have to agree with your comment about all ignorant morons. "borderline is the technical term for cutting "LOL. if they only knew. Um as far as your question goes i'm not sure if this will help as i am going off what my friend tries to stop. Exercise until you are too exhausted to do anything else, squeeze ice cubes, snap a rubber band against your wrist or writing to try to focus on something else. I understand that those techniques don't always work and that it is hard to resist the urge to cut but for what it is worth i believe you can do it. don't stop trying.

I'm not full of bright ideas but a couple if read around the place are if you really want 2 cut try cutting something else not your self! like an apple or orange stab it to death if you must if it stops you from cutting your self.
Also things like stress balls and stuff can also help takes your mind off or try finding a good movie or TV show. PC game that kinda thing. anything basically to distract you.
Sorry my advice isnt great.

I have heard that it is anger and a way to express inner rage. To take your mind off from it focus on being a blessing to others as that brings satisfaction and joy.
